How does the QARE insurance agent referral network work?
Approved licensed Allstate, State Farm, and independent agents refer auto clients they cannot retain to ZAV Agency. ZAV handles quoting and policy placement. The referring agent receives 50% of ZAV’s actual net first-term commission after Brightway’s split, subject to the private referral agreement and eligibility review.
Is QARE free to join?
Yes. There is no QARE membership or subscription fee. Agency approval, license/NPN review, and completion of the private referral agreement are required before an agent can submit clients.
How can I get paid for referring auto insurance clients?
Submit an eligible, authorized referral from your agent portal. When ZAV binds the first-term policy, a commission record is created. Once the actual Brightway net payment is recorded, your 50% share appears in your ledger and monthly invoice. There is no payment for an unbound referral and no share of renewals.
When and how are referral commissions paid?
Payout is targeted approximately 45 days after policy inception, but not before ZAV receives and reconciles the actual Brightway net commission. Commissions roll into monthly invoices. Admin records payment date and method; your portal displays the same status. Zelle is available below $10,000; ACH or check is used at or above $10,000.
What happens if a policy cancels or its coverage changes?
If the policy cancels before completing its first six months and Brightway reverses commission, the referring agent’s adjustment is 50% of that actual reversal. Mid-term coverage changes do not trigger a QARE chargeback. Paid invoices remain intact, with later adjustments recorded separately.
Who receives renewal commissions?
ZAV Agency retains 100% of renewal commissions. The referring agent’s 50% share applies only to ZAV’s net commission on the first term.
What happens if another agent already submitted the same prospect?
The first accepted submission secures the prospect. Later submissions receive a duplicate alert without identifying the other agent or agency. Matching uses available name, address, date of birth, vehicle, and policy information. Incomplete submissions may require ZAV review; a CSV queue entry alone does not secure a prospect.
Which states are open?
Florida is the primary market, Texas is second, and Ohio is third. Current rollout status is displayed in the live state map above. Other states are in testing. Each application is subject to individual licensing, carrier-contract, and compliance review.
Is QARE affiliated with Allstate or State Farm?
QARE is a Qoverd platform program fulfilled by ZAV Agency LLC, not an Allstate or State Farm program. Carrier names identify types of referring agencies, not sponsorship or endorsement. Participation remains subject to an agent’s licensing and contractual permissions.
Is client information shared or sold?
QARE does not sell referral data to third parties. Access is limited to the submitting agent’s authorized scope and ZAV administrators. Agencies cannot see other agencies’ data. The agency must affirm its authority to share the insured’s information and authorize ZAV’s requested contact.
Where can I read and sign the referral agreement?
The agreement is private and is not hosted on this website. After you apply, ZAV will contact you, answer your questions, and arrange the private signing process. Your portal is activated only after the required reviews and signed agreement are verified.
