Qoverd.com publishes guidance to help drivers and homeowners understand insurance requirements, compare coverage, and shop with confidence. This page explains who writes our content, how it’s reviewed, how we handle figures and estimates, and what to do if you spot an error.

Who writes our content

Most Qoverd guides are written by Dennis Zav, licensed florida insurance agent and owner of Zav Agency LLC. His full bio and credentials are on our About page.

Some guides cover lines outside Dennis’s core personal-lines licensing — commercial auto, business liability, and workers’ compensation topics, for example. Those posts are labeled as staff-researched and reviewed rather than bylined to an individual credential we can’t verify against that specific line of coverage. We’d rather disclose the gap than overstate anyone’s expertise.

How we verify facts

Legal requirements (like state minimum liability limits) are checked against the issuing state’s department of insurance or motor vehicle agency at the time of writing. Industry statistics are sourced from organizations like the Insurance Information Institute, NAIC, or IIHS, cited inline where we reference them. Where a page cites a specific source, that link is the primary reference for the claim.

Dollar figures on rate/cost pages are not real quotes or aggregated market data. They come from Qoverd’s own illustrative pricing model, explained in full on our methodology page. We label every instance of these figures as illustrative and link to that explanation.

How often we update content

We review cost and requirement pages at least quarterly, since insurance minimums and typical pricing shift over time. When we materially revise a page — not a typo fix, but a real change to the facts or figures — we update its displayed date. A page’s date only moves when something on it actually changed.

How we’re compensated

Qoverd is a free comparison and lead-referral service. When you request quotes, we may be compensated by the insurance agencies and carriers who receive your information. This compensation does not influence which coverage options we describe as good fits, or the content of our educational guides — our commercial relationships and our editorial content are handled separately. Qoverd LLC is not itself a licensed insurance agency; policies are quoted, written, and serviced by licensed partners including Zav Agency LLC.

Corrections

If you find an error — an outdated requirement, a broken source link, or anything that looks wrong — tell us at sales@qoverd.com. We correct factual errors as soon as we can verify them and don’t hide that a correction happened.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t publish customer star ratings or review counts until we have a real, verified review program live — see our Reviews page for where that stands today.
  • We don’t present our illustrative rate model as real market data or an actual quote.
  • We don’t byline content to a credential that doesn’t match the line of coverage being discussed.
